How Are Seamless Gutters Made?

It all begins with a roll of gutter coil that gets fed into the back of the machine. Then, a series of rollers bend the sheet metal slowing into the final product and the coil moves through the 10ft long machine. Once the gutter comes out of the front, we have to make one of two kinds of cuts depending on where the gutter will be installed. If the gutter will be the end piece, we crimp and seal the end cap on, but if the gutter is going to be going around an inside or outside corner, we use a template to cut the appropriate miter on the end of the gutter. Once the gutter is finished running out, we use a guillotine to cut the gutter and ready it for installation. After that, the installation occurs and all miters are sealed using our construction grade waterproof sealant.
